February 9-17, 2013

Welcome to Inky Layers x3 !

CHALLENGE:

My challenge is a variation of the embossing resist technique which includes 1-2-3 layers of ink.
The technique inclues:

1. Ink a background stamp with 3 dye inks. Stamp onto cardstock. Heat set (dry ink with heat gun).
2. Rub image with anti-static bag or dryer sheet. Select a smaller bold image stamp. Stamp several images with resist ink. Add clear embossing powder and heat.
3. Blend at least 2 inks over the entire piece. Buff excess ink off embossed areas with tissue as desired.
And of course you will use your piece in a project of your choice.
