I love swishing my aquabrush with pretty alcohol inks across acetate. I find this technique not to be a precision painting style but rather lends itself to relaxing and playful creative time. This one I had fun experimenting by adding playful dots.
I used parts of background stamps for both of these images. I had fun adding stickles behind the alcohol ink for a set of ATCs.
How pretty are these! Different styles, but both are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried this technique...
WOW Jan both of these really are gorgeous! I like both of the styles a lot! I had a hard time being so free with it!
ReplyDeleteThese are both great. The first one is so fresh and such fun and the second one is very classy. Love them both.
ReplyDeleteThese are both so beautiful! Love what you've done with alcohol inks! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!!! Is this for Tami's swap...I'm jealous because some how I missed out on it!
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty. I love the combo of the alcohol inks with the stickles.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see you paint with AIs, I think that I need to try it! Its always gorgeous! Thanks for inspiring me...again!:>
ReplyDeleteThese are even more gorgeous in person. Lucky me getting to see them first :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous love both your ATCs but the second one is my favorite, it looks so rich.
ReplyDeleteI love both of these for different reasons. The one with berries is so graceful and beautiful--love the colors. I also love the fun of the circles card; and the pierced circle and twine on that one adds a great touch.
ReplyDeleteWOW! These are beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Jan. I especially love the card with the leaves and berries.
