Yes, 2009 moved too quickly on some days. I have lots of photos that never got posted. So this is my brief catchup for some that I want to still share.
Yes, that is real birch bark from trees that to be removed this past summer. Brilliance ink was used to stamp on the black glossy paper.
Paper pieceing was done for the bird's body and acrylic paints were used on the background.
I cut some embellishment frames dies from a coke can with my Cuttlebug. I first added a piece of craft foam to the back so the dimension would be retained.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Each and every card. The birch bark card is amazing! I don't think I've ever seen black glossy card stock and it is amazing the way you've used it with the brilliance ink. It is WONDERFUL seeing you post again. I miss seeing your creativity!
