Shades of Spring

Sending some thoughts of spring today!

I had fun most fun getting wet and inky when making this card! After wetting the watercolor paper I brush on TH ink stains with a wet brush and blended bundled sage, peacock feathers and peel paint stains for the background. I brushed a wash to over stamp this negative image from the Hero Arts stamp set called “Cherish” with archival ink.

In case you missed my post the other day-
Virginia Lu has started a special new Challenge Blog this month. The first challenge asked for watercoloring .  Even if you didn't have the time to play viewing the entries is a treat in themselves.  As well Virginia provides terrific inspiration, great tips and tutorial links.

Thanks for stopping in!

  3. Oh green definitely speaks Spring to me! I love that you've added the pink and red pearl to your card, they really bring out the various shade of green on your card!
